Are you ready for something new? Something bold? Something beautiful?

Hiking with my husband Rick in Bend Oregon

While it is always a little difficult watching Summer come to an end, I think that most would agree Fall is a great time of the year.

Who doesn't love the beautiful colors of the leaves on trees, cooler weather, pumpkin carving, and Football season! Yep, I am a girl who loves Football season!

Fall is always the perfect time to reflect on how my year has been going, so far. And to be perfectly honest, after a lot of Summer fun, it's a great time of year to hit the "reset" button.

For me, hitting the "reset" button involves getting back on track with my diet, sleep routine, as well as the personal and professional goals I set for myself earlier in the year. But, before I do, I kinda like to reassess it all.

Often times, the vision I had in the New Year has changed a bit. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. Most know from reading my recent blogs and posts on social media...my husband and I decided to make MAJOR changes a few months ago. You can read more about the details here if you missed the scoop and want to get caught up.

So, my hubbie and I started the process a little earlier this year, however, we are still making more changes.

It's a great time to let go of the things that aren't working out so well... and a fabulous time to try something new. Maybe even something bold! Something...what I call Beautiful! Just by giving yourself permission to go for it!

Need a little jumpstart to get the process going?

Here are a few suggestions...

We all get so busy in the daily grind that we tend ignore the voices in our heads telling us to stop and make the necessary changes needed to feel better about ourselves and our lives.

It's also easy to get sucked into the mindset of worry, fear, and sometimes even slip into what I call a "funk".

Yet it is just as easy to get back on the track.

That's why I take a little time out to ask myself some questions....and write the answers in a journal.

What do I want for my life moving forward? Am I living in alignment with what I want to create or am I off track?

Once you write down what it is you want for your life, moving forward, write down WHY. Be specific. How will you feel once you begin to live the life you are truly longing for?

How am I spending my time? Time is precious and I don't want to waste a moment doing anything that isn't in alignment with who I am, what I want… nor do I want to be around people who are negative, draining, or don’t respect me. Personally or professionally.

How has my work been fulfilling up until now, and what aspects are not fulfilling?

How can I do more of what is fulfilling and less of what isn’t?

How can I serve others? Help support others and provide them with the tools to live happy, healthy, beautiful lives?

After taking some time out for self-reflection, here are a few things I do to help me stay on track toward making the improvements in my life.

♥ My daily affirmation is: I am focused on the present moment. My future depends on it. I can not control the future and my past is behind me. Everything is always working out for my highest good.

♥Live in Gratitude: My gratitude journal is the greatest gift I have ever given myself. Reflecting on what I am grateful every night before I go to bed and again every morning when I wake up keeps me a state of gratitude.

♥Focus on what brings me joy, passion, and inspiration. Turn the negative around to positive. I work hard to consciously let go of the voices in my head that are negative, critical, fearful, etc.. This is an on-going process and a practice of self-love.

As I look back on my life and career, I realize that miracles occur when I am driven by my deepest desires, passion, and inspiration which lead to a deeper sense of fulfillment. Not only for myself, but for others.

I want more of that! And guess what...more miracles have been occurring and will for you too!

It's easy to get side tracked. I get it. It happens to me more than I choose to admit...

There's a wonderful quote by Lao Tzu

"If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present."

Have you considered a little self-reflection?

Are you in alignment with what you truly want in your heart?

Are you focused on the past? Or maybe the future rather than the present moment?

Where ever you are... I send you BIG LOVE and would love to know if you have a process you like to use to hit your "reset" button!!
